At 11pm my son (visiting for Mother’s Day) and I walked out to see if any sign of the Aurora was visible. At first I thought I was seeing a low overcast of clouds because the sky had an even blue-green cast. But then suddenly it began to shift into pinks and purples. I held my phone up to see if the sensor was seeing anything different and lo and behold…the aurora!
