Mt. Tom - Bray Lake

Eventually we back-tracked but were thwarted again at the correct trailhead being blocked for construction of a wheelchair accessible trail bed. We walked around to the exit point and were able to follow that path along the edge of Bray Lake. We saw skittish Wood Ducks from a distance, but got an excellent look at a Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher that was harvesting fuzz off emerging ferns—most likely to line a nest.
